What is L.E.A.P.?
L.E.A.P. is an acronym for Leicester Entertainment Arts & Performance, and was founded by husband and wife team, Dwight and Shelita Jones. Originally from Bermuda, the two entrepreneurs recently fell in love with the Leicester community, and have a strong desire to create positive music/experiences, develop and mentor a team of junior music producers, and help to prepare and nurture the careers of young recording artists and musicians.
The idea of L.E.A.P. is to provide a place where musicians, singers, songwriters, and students of all ages can come and have in-depth exposure to Professional Recording, Music Production & Media Arts as well as Photography & Video Production.
L.E.A.P. is much more than a great place to hang out. It is a place where great ideas embrace and are developed / recorded / and exposed to a greater community of music lovers. We want our clients and students to be free to create, and explore new ideas, new sounds and rhythms, and develop new creative relationships. Our staff are very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced, and are ready to help you to complete your project.
L.E.A.P. Studios/Services
L.E.A.P. RECORDING STUDIOS:
The recording studio/s are located at Highfields Centre. The main studio suite is a purpose built, fully equipped recording studio in superb condition. This relaxing and inspiring environment makes the studio a perfect space for professional music production, studio recording (solo artists, groups, bands), radio/TV ad production, technical training videos, and social media advertising.
L.E.A.P. MUSIC LESSONS: (Community & Private)
Music lessons will be offered to students who show interest in learning or improving their musical skills. One-to-one lessons will be available as well as group sessions. These same students will also be introduced to creating original music and recording it. They will learn to work with other musicians and learn how to collaborate with other artists in the creation process.
We also offer private music lessons in guitar, bass, drums, and piano - for all ages. Music lessons are available to families, schools and community centres.
L.E.A.P. VOCAL TRAINING:
Singers, Rappers, Spoken Word Artists, and any other recording artist can benefit from vocal training. We hold classes on breathing techniques, singing techniques as well as ear training and rhythmic understanding.
L.E.A.P. VIDEO PRODUCTION:
We have experienced professional photographers & videographers available who are able to manage your video project from conception through to completion. We can create Social Media and Broadcast videos/ads, business presentations, music videos, and video albums. Our video production services also includes consultation and development of ideas, concepts, and insights - recording, editing, etc.

Whether you have an event that you want to stream live on your website, social media profile, or if you are an artist looking to create a professional unplugged youtube video - our live video streaming team can help. We exclusively use high quality video streaming software and equipment to ensure that your HD stream and maximum quality audio is a first class experience for your viewers.
