We have a great opportunity for a junior Producer/Beat-Maker here at L.E.A.P. Studios in Leicester! If you can make wicked beats, and are looking to up your game - you could be working from one of our professional recording studios. Our head producer, D-Major is looking to focus solely on producing and making Authentic Reggae Riddims - and would like to outsource all other genres, to other producers in the Leicester / Midlands area. D-Major will also be on-hand to help to provide technical & professional development for our producers - which includes training/mentoring for recording, music production, and engineering.

Requirements
If you are interested in this opportunity - YOU also have to bring something to the table. You will be required to have extensive knowledge about DAWs, beat-making, and preferably your own clients/resources. We have all the basics you need in order to make beats, Professional Studio Monitors, Keyboard Controllers, iMac computers with Logic Pro X installed, Professional Audio Interfaces, etc. If you are more comfortable with PC software - you just got FIRED - PC users are banned from the studio for life! lololololol. But seriously, we do not have any PCs in the studio, so you will have to bring your own. We will also be promoting and marketing you as a L.E.A.P. Studios "Freelance Producer", so it would be an asset if you have an established Social Media presence.
Benefits - (All producers/beat-makers will be on a 3-month trial basis)
Lets talk MONEY!
1. If you make a beat for your own client that you bring to the studio - you keep all 100% of the money from that client.
2. If you make a beat for one of L.E.A.P. Studios' clients that we supply for you - we split it 50/50. Please keep in mind that you as a producer will be operating out of our studio as a Freelance Producer / Sub-contractor (Responsible for your own taxes, etc.)
3. Producer collaborations will be agreed upon before starting any collaboration project.
Recording Studios
We have a total of three production suites - with access to additional rehearsal space, video production/editing suites, and a music production/training suite. Our main music production suites are acoustically designed to professional audio standards, to ensure a comfortable, creative, productive environment for our producers and clients. DAW
We're running Logic Pro X - so you may need your personal DAW, favourite plugins and a hard drive.
Genres
We're specifically looking for Hip Hop, R&B, and Afrobeat, but if you can handle other genres, like Reggae, Dancehall, Neo Soul, Britpop, etc., all the better.
Schedule
We are basically open from 10am until 2am - 7 days per week. We can arrange your sessions as a standard recurring schedule, or as "on-demand" based on availability.

- Collaboration between 2 producers (with a non-L.E.A.P. client will most likely be a 50/50 split between the 2 producers - unless otherwise agreed.
- Collaboration between L.E.A.P. Studios and 2 producers (with a L.E.A.P. client will most likely be as follows 25% for each of the 2 producers, and 50% L.E.A.P. Studios - unless otherwise agreed.
- All other scenarios will be discussed and agreed before any work on a collaboration project begins
